1. Services and scope

Plan to Price Estimating LLC provides quantity takeoffs, construction cost estimates, contractor proposal preparation, and separately approved logo design. Each written service quote identifies the project, included trades and areas, source documents or measurements, deliverables and file formats, document language, exclusions, service fee, payment schedule, delivery timing and revisions.

We provide estimating and document-preparation support. We do not perform construction under this agreement or provide architectural design, engineering, surveying, site inspections, code certification, permit approval, legal advice or insurance advice. Other services require a separate agreement.

2. Quotes and approval

Submitting an inquiry does not place an order or authorize a charge. Advertised starting prices are service fees, not construction costs. Final pricing depends on the reviewed scope. Quotes remain valid for 14 calendar days unless the quote states otherwise.

Before payment, the customer receives the written quote and this version of the terms. Work is authorized when the customer approves both in writing, including by email identifying the quote. Any different project-specific terms must be expressly agreed in writing. Later website changes do not change an already accepted agreement. Applicable taxes, if any, will be identified before approval.

3. Payment

Unless the accepted quote states otherwise:

These thresholds apply to the total approved fee, including approved add-ons, before taxes. We provide a review copy or completion summary before requesting a final balance. Payment instructions appear on a separate invoice. Do not submit card or banking information through the project-request form or email. No automatic recurring charges are authorized by these terms.

4. Customer information and responsibilities

The customer supplies the latest plans, addenda, specifications, measurements, photographs, selections, project location, deadline, and any requested labor rates or pricing preferences. The customer must have permission to share these materials and any branding.

For projects without drawings, quantities rely on the contractor's supplied dimensions and site descriptions. The customer verifies field conditions, dimensions, quantities, material selections and purchasing requirements before using the deliverables. We identify material ambiguities we notice and seek clarification or disclose assumptions. We do not knowingly treat unresolved assumptions as verified facts.

5. Timing and changes

The delivery period begins after written approval, the required initial payment and complete project information are received. The quote specifies business-day timing and any agreed delivery date. Business days exclude weekends and U.S. federal holidays.

Missing information, changed plans or new scope may affect delivery. We explain the effect and confirm a revised schedule. Rush work is subject to availability and a separately approved fee. We notify the customer promptly of any delay on our side and discuss a revised date or cancellation of unperformed work.

6. Revisions and corrections

Unless the quote states otherwise, estimating and proposal services include one consolidated revision round within the original scope, requested within 7 calendar days after delivery. A revision round means one combined list of requested changes. Correcting our transcription or calculation errors is free and does not use this revision allowance; the 7-day period does not eliminate the customer's right to report those errors later.

New drawings, added trades or areas, changed selections, additional versions or changes outside the approved scope require an additional written quote and approval before work or charges. Please review the deliverables before submitting a bid or ordering materials.

7. Estimate limitations and proposal use

We prepare estimates with reasonable care from the agreed inputs and explain significant allowances, assumptions and exclusions. Supplier pricing, availability, labor productivity, site conditions and project requirements can change. An estimate does not guarantee actual construction cost, profit, bid acceptance or a contract award.

The contractor approves the selling price and remains responsible for construction methods, safety, permits, licensing, taxes, subcontractors and the final construction agreement with their customer. Proposal preparation does not include legal review or certification that the contractor's agreement satisfies every applicable contract requirement. Internal cost sheets are supplied separately from customer-facing proposals.

8. Cancellation and refunds

Customers may cancel by email. Before work begins, payments are refunded in full. After work begins, the charge is limited to the reasonable value of documented work completed within the approved scope plus any specifically preapproved, nonrecoverable third-party costs. The total cannot exceed the approved fee. We provide an itemized calculation; there is no automatic forfeiture of the deposit or separate cancellation penalty.

Completed work is valued against the quote's itemized tasks or milestones. Where those are not itemized, we use a documented proportion of completed work against the fixed fee, not an undisclosed hourly rate. Any remaining amount due follows the same calculation. Paid completed portions that can reasonably be delivered will be provided and identified as incomplete when applicable.

We initiate refunds for unperformed work within 10 business days after confirming the cancellation calculation; bank processing may take additional time. If we cancel, the same rules apply. These terms do not restrict remedies available under applicable law for deficient services.

9. Languages, branding and logo design

The customer chooses communication language and deliverable language separately. English and Spanish communication are available. Bilingual deliverables must be included in the written quote; selecting both languages on an inquiry does not automatically order or price a second version. Website sample documents are in English.

The optional $95 logo service includes one concept, two consolidated revision rounds, and final PNG, JPG and SVG files. The quote confirms the brief and schedule. Trademark searches, trademark registration and a guarantee of exclusive trademark rights are not included. Third-party fonts or assets retain their own license terms, which will be disclosed if used.

10. Files, confidentiality and portfolio permission

After full payment, the customer may use the delivered estimates and proposals for the stated project, edit supplied editable files, and share customer-facing proposals with their client. Original final logo artwork created by us is assigned to the customer upon full payment, excluding disclosed third-party assets. We retain our preexisting templates, methods and tools.

We use project information to perform the agreed service and related administration, and limit access to people and service providers who need it for those purposes. Internet transmission and storage cannot be guaranteed risk-free. Our separate privacy notice will explain information handling. Do not include unnecessary sensitive personal information in uploads.

We will not publish customer files, identifying details or project examples for marketing without separate written permission. Customers should retain their final files; indefinite archival or recovery services are not included.

11. Questions and concerns

Contact hello@plantopriceestimating.com with the quote or project reference and a description of the issue. We aim to acknowledge concerns within 2 business days and propose a reasonable resolution. This contact process does not restrict statutory rights or require the customer to waive legal remedies.
